York Hearts "Off Track"

The Jambos went down to another defeat at the hands of Network Rail at the Roko Stadium last night. A poor start saw a neat passing, well organised side outplay YHFC and cruise into an early lead. Only some great chasing down by Calum, some crushing challenges by Gavstro and some great saves by Rich Jono kept the score down as half time approached. When they "could be bothered", YHFC had there opponants pegged back and had a lot more of the ball .Poor finnishing by some and great saves by the Rail keeper and some bad luck from Bedo,s great efforts kept the opposition in front, too far for the Jambos to peg back and it finnished 9-6 with Gavstro and Ghandi picking up a joint man of the match award.
The sporting Jambos ( apart from Ibby who was to knackered too) then played another game against Stillington as their opponants hadn,t turned up. Ibby went to the pub!!!
Back in HQ (The White Horse) the forfiet was to wear head decoration. Bandanas were the prefered choice but they were outdone by Rich Jono with his pony tail extention. Next weeks is having to recite the first 11 in the 98 or 2006 cup final or sing Hearts Hearts Glorious Hearts in its entirety. Good luck!!!
