Trips to Tynecastle

All members should have received an email about forthcoming events and ideas for next season. If you haven't, email yorkhearts@yahoo.co.uk and we'll forward it on. The first trip of next season will probably be for the European game in August, though that is to be confirmed. Subsequent official club trips will be: September 29 - Hearts v Kilmarnock October 27 - Hearts v Ross County November 17 - Hearts v St Mirren December 1 - Scottish Cup Tie (home or away) Yes, the Scottish Cup does start in December next season, so the poor wee team could be knocked out twice in less than seven months!

Cup final pictures

We've added a cup-final picture gallery. It'd be great if people could add to it with their own pictures. Either email them to yorkhearts@yahoo.co.uk or contact Gav who may be able to give log-in details for the admin page. See the gallery here:

Get this party started....

Forget the Jubilee, the Olympics, York800, the European Championships...... and tell us how you think York Hearts should celebrate the unforgettable 2012 Scottish Cup win. All ideas welcome - the more the merrier, and the more imaginative the merrier.

Membership subs due soon...

Has there ever been a better time to be a Hearts supporter than this summer? No! So make sure you don't miss out on renewing your York Hearts membership for season 2012/13. Fees are frozen yet again (that's seven seasons in a row now) - so it's £10 for adults, £5 for kids and £20 for families (up to 2 adults and as many of your own children as you wish). Remember, all members pay £5 less than non-members on any road-trips we organise, and also receive regular newsy emails, and get priority on any events we organise. Over the summer and into next season, we hope to have some special events to celebrate the cup win and St Andrew's Day, and will also be following Hearts in Europe, the SPL, the Mickey Mouse Cup, and as we try to defend the Scottish Cup! Bear in mind also that £1 of each member's payment also goes directly to the Federation of Hearts Supporters Clubs, of which we are proudly a member. Please let any of the committee know ASAP if you want to renew, and please pay when you can, but certainly by the start of season 2012/13.
