Off the mark

York Hearts finally got their first win of the season, with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Dilemma at Huntington last night.
Adam Burnett made his first appearance of the season and proved the match-winner, drilling home a powerful drive midway through the first half.
Bruno went on to claim the man-of-the match award in what was an excellent team performance all-round.
Gav Aitchison also made his first start of the season, following his appendicectomy, and deputised in goal for the absent Rich, but Aitchison had only three real saves to make, as the Hearts midfield and defence snuffed out the Dilemma threat.
The Jambos were unfortunate not to add to their lead, particularly when Sam had what looked a good goal disallowed.
The squad was: Aitchison, Beattie, Ong, S. Outing, Dall, Carroll, Burnett.
