York Hearts 1-0 Amber AFC

York Hearts emulated their Tynecastle namesakes, and spoiled the party for title-winning Amber in their Football Mundial clash last night.
The Jambos produced an excellent team-performance, and recorded a well-deserved 1-0 victory at a damp Huntington.
Gavin Aitchison got the winning goal after ten minutes, intercepting a loose pass and firing under the keeper.
Despite having much of the ball, Amber rarely looked like scoring and Hearts could have added to their lead in the second half.
Table-topping Amber had only lost twice before last night, and a win would have seen them crowned champions.
But the Champagne was put on ice only for another half hour, with Crosbys' defeat to N-Power meaning Amber remain seven points clear at the top, with just two games left.
The victory is undoubtedly York Hearts' best result so far this season, and avenges our 1-0 defeat when the two sides met in April.
The squad was: Tommy O, Gav, Ibby, Stampie, Ninja, Bruno, Other Gav, Sam and Callum. Badger was in charge in Tommy Mac's absence.
Stampie and Bruno shared the York Hearts Man of the Match award.

I may have gone on and on last night, but I have to say that the tenatious (excuse the spelling) back tracking from everyone and the sheer determination of all playing last night, made me proud to be part of YHFC. You were the bollocks, keep it up.
Ibby.
