Haphazard Hearts Hang-on v Hamilton

Three members of York Hearts travelled to Tynecastle last night, for the SPL match against Hamilton Accies.
Ian Warner, Sam Outing and Gav Aitchison set off from York by car shortly after 2pm, returning to York just after 2am this morning.
Hearts started brightly, with Christian Nade shaking off the Accies' defence to open the scoring in the sixth minute. A flurry of chances followed, with Nade a constant danger. He was unlucky with one ambitious shot while on the deck, which flew just wide, and also forced the visitors' keeper into a couple of good saves.
The second half, by contrast, was hugely disappointing and Hamilton spent long spells camped in the Hearts half. The Jambos defence stood firm throughout, but Accies will count themselves unlucky not to have snatched a point.
Relief all round at the final whistle, none more so than for Gav Aitchison, who had previously failed to witness Hearts win at home for 13 long months.
The journey went well, and we arrived in good time for a quick pint in the Tynie Arms and the customary trip to the Gorgie Fish Bar.
The next official trip is for Hearts v Rangers on November 29 (12.30pm kick-off). If anyone is going to Hearts v Falkirk on Nov 22 though, feel free to contact Ian Warner, who is also heading up.
