Another trip, another win

For the third month running, the York Hearts road trip culminated in a thumping win for the Jambos. After the 4-2 demolitions of Rangers and Falkirk, this time it was Aberdeen's turn to be put to the sword.

Driver Ibby Dall writes: "The eleventh official road trip of the year to watch Hearts play Aberdeen resulted in a 4-1 thumping of the Dons at Tynecastle. Six members and one guest Jill Anderson squeezed into a Mazda people carrier and when I say squeezed, I mean SQUEEZED.
The result was never in any doubt when it was revealed that Ibby "Hearts never lose when I watch then live" Dall was travelling with the ardent travellers and the committee are seriously considering asking HMFC for a complimentary season ticket to ensure the Jambos continue to win in his presence.
"The journey had few problems on this trip apart from some very obnoxious lorry drivers and some kamikaze drivers trying their hardest not to finish their journeys, and we got to the Orwell in plenty of time to savour the odd beer or three. Long time Jambo Davie "do I need a ticket?" Dall joined us there and chairman Ian "don't mess with the Badger" Warner used his gentle persuasion to get a ticket for Dall senior a couple of seats away from Dall junior and Jill.
"Even sat watching at home, Tommy "I have 6,000 free texts a month and I'm going to use them" McScarfless, could only watch in awe when Andrew Driver was voted man of the match by YHSC after his dazzling wing play and energy knows no bounds performance.
"A trouble free journey back to York ended with a few having a couple more jars at HQ, The White Horse in Bootham, to finish off a fantastic day with the Jambos going above Aberdeen into 6th spot. More of the same in the next few matches and we will soon be back in a more acceptable loftier position in the league."

The next trip is on December 1 against Celtic. Let us know ASAP if you want to go.
