York Hearts and Hearts FC today completed a treble for the week after the Thursday night team beat old foes Jet Screen 6-4 (see the YHFC Facebook group for details) to follow up the Tuesday team's 5-0 thrashing of rivals Browns of York and Hearts' 1-0 League Cup quarter final win at Celtic Park.
This is the first time in York Hearts' three year history that all three sides have won in the same week and also the first time the three have won consecutive matches (and in all honesty it will probably be another 3 years before it happens again!). All eyes now switch to Fir Park on Saturday to see if the Jambos can make it an unprecedented quadruple. To follow this up The YHFC Tuesday side hope to end their season at Huntington with a victorious double-header against Yorkshire Puddings and Fire-In-The-Goal, kick-offs at 2030 and 2130 respectivley..
